It's Not Me, It's You

There’s often a personal connection between the photographer and the image shot. Some pictures, though, seem to be destined to be let go of. Like at the end of a love story. The title of this image reflects the excuse I had to make in order to separate myself from the beauty of this image and any possible meaning connected to it. As if its beauty didn’t belong to me.

That’s when you come into the picture. It’s not me who should be found in this image, it’s you that can and, probably, should investigate the reason why the beauty of a picture can stop you and ask you to create a new personal connection with it.
