While I was thinking on how to calculate the energy a human heart produces, I realised I knew nothing about it and that in the end it had nothing to do with the reason why I composed this shot.
I actually just liked the contrast between this universal shape and the use of batteries to create it. They both relate to energy creation but from opposite poles: the negative chemical process of the batteries and the positive natural strength of the heart.
The coloured circles that differentiate the batteries give it the ‘lighthearted’ feel that I was looking for.
