A digital black and white Harlequin tries to disguise its colourful nature and outfit. Poor but creative, Harlequin always looked for ways to trick his “master” Pantalone. And still the origin of his name is darker than expected, one of demonic stories and folklore. This Harlequin believes pure colours to have been kidnapped for ransom by his contemporary master Al-Pantone, a fictional character from the underworld who controls colours through racketeering. It may be just a fortuitous coincidence that the anagram of Harlequin’s master, Pantalone, creates its fictional counterpart Al-Pantone, but a day of reckoning is unavoidable.
