Laundry Doesn’t Wait is a mockery of an ad slogan for a perfume. After leaving momentarily this tuft of grass in my purple laundry basket outside, I wondered if my laundry chores could have waited until I had found a moment for photographing the subject. But the real question is if beauty can wait for our obsession for practicality, and if there’s a fight ahead of us that will have to be fought.
